View from coast to Tarifa and the Riff Mountains of Morocco


Tarifa is located on the southern most point of Europe, an attractive and laid back town with strong Moorish influences. The area is surrounded by beautiful and unique natural parks and vast stretches of untouched coastline renowned for its vistas of Africa. Tarifa is also a world famous kite/wind surfing location, with plenty of sun to enjoy the beach.

The two beach houses are located at either end of a one hectare plot situated within the Natural Park. The property, "El Cancho", spanish for rock outcrop, is named for the razor ridge outcrops that run through the property. This property provides a secluded and peaceful hideaways for those looking for a special place. There are spectacular views of both the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean sea, native pine forests, rock outcrops and Africa/Morocco. El Cancho lies directly under one of the most important bird migration routes between Africa and Europe. The beach houses are only 250 metres from the beach and 3 km from Tarifa town. Both houses are “green” producing electricity via solar panels and using spring water from the mountains above. Spring brings a wash of wild flowers across the property, while stretches of deserted beaches can be found even in the height of summer. If your lucky, you will hear the enchanting sounds of the goat bells and the herders still roam the natural park grazing.

El Cancho provides a wonderfully secluded hideaway yet with easy access to the beach and Tarifa.

The house was originally designed for the Mobiliari show in Milan '98 by the Swedish architect Thomas Sandell and Wallpaper* magazine and has since been re-built in this unique location outside Tarifa. The sleeping arrangements are open-plan with comfortable and modern furnishings. The house is ideal for up to 4 people though can sleep six people (1 independent double room, 1 very large double and two large single beds). A cot is available if required. The house is suppied by natural moutain springs, (drinkable natural spring water). There is mobile phone coverage at the site.

• all bed linen/towels are provided.

Rental Rates
Low Season (September - June); €145.00 a night with a min 3 night stay

Peak Season (July & Aug) €1400.00 per week (min 1 week stay July and Aug) (Discounts available for longer bookings)
Peak Season (Christmas, Easter, UK bank holidays and Spanish public holidays); €190 a night (min 3 night stay) Discounts available for longer bookings)

This Beach Hut is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small group of friends. It has spectacular ocean views across the the Moroccan coast and mountain views of the Natural Park, of which the house is situated within. The wooden house has open plan living and comfortable and modern furnishing. The house sleeps 2-4 people (2 double beds) with cots available. The house is supplied by natural mountain springs, (drinkable natural spring water).
